Mark Consuelos Explanations to Kelly Ripa
Consuelos is eager to embrace being a grandparent rather than an older father with extra responsibilities. He and his wife, Ripa, are entering an exciting new chapter as they look forward to becoming grandparents. Reflecting on raising their three children—Michael (25), Joaquin (20), and Lola (21)—Ripa celebrated her son’s 20th birthday last month with throwback photos, highlighting how quickly time passes.
On “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” Ripa remarked on how fast her children grew up, saying, “It felt like only a second had passed.” She and Mark are proud parents, now ready to enjoy grandparenthood. In addition to focusing on family, Ripa is launching a new podcast, “Let’s Talk Off Camera,” co-created with SiriusXM and Milojo Productions, her company with Consuelos. The podcast, launching March 22, will feature guests like Anderson Cooper, Andy Cohen, Carol Burnett, and Matthew McConaughey.
Reflecting on their new ventures, Ripa and Consuelos are excited to seize opportunities in this new phase of life. Consuelos’s anticipation of becoming a grandfather underscores the joy of embracing new roles and experiences.
