Joy Behar Loses It As She Discusses Her Joke About A Co-Host’s Dead Dog
On Thursday’s episode of ABC’s “The View,” viewers were shocked to hear Joy Behar allegedly make a crude joke about her co-host Sara Haines’s deceased dog. The incident occurred during a discussion about comedian Ali Wong’s comedy style, prompting a conversation about the freedom enjoyed by single people compared to parents.
Haines, a mother of three, expressed the challenges of parenthood, leading to a remark about her former Chihuahuas having better bladder control than her kids. When Behar seemed surprised, Haines revealed that her dogs had passed away while they were working together on the show.
Behar, however, claimed she had forgotten about the dogs’ deaths, prompting Haines to recount a previous incident where Behar made a crude comment about the deceased pets at her birthday party.
Behar denied the accusation, leading to a tense exchange on air where she attempted to silence Haines. Despite this, Behar, who recently celebrated her 80th birthday and has no plans to retire from “The View,” emphasized her commitment to the show.
While Behar remains steadfast in her role, questions have arisen about her memory and conduct, with some speculating about senility. Despite this, Behar reaffirmed her dedication to “The View,” citing its importance and her enjoyment of being part of the popular daytime show.
