Man Captures Aerial Footage of Great Pyramid’s Summit

The Great Pyramid of Giza, a timeless wonder, remains a marvel of ancient architecture. Few witness its summit firsthand, but Brazilian Yanis Terzis, a psychiatric administrator and pilot, recently seized the opportunity.

Yanis embarked on a paramotor flight over Egypt’s historic sites, equipped with a GoPro Hero 10 to document his journey legally permitted. Hovering close to the pyramid’s apex, he captured astounding footage, revealing inscriptions and graffiti etched into the stone.

The video offers a unique perspective, showcasing the pyramid’s flat summit, contrasting with its pointed appearance from below. Erosion and stone removal have diminished its original height from 482 to 449 feet since its construction around 2560 BCE.

Yanis’s daring flight provides a rare glimpse into the mysteries atop one of the Seven Wonders of the World, immortalizing the experience for himself and viewers worldwide.
