This Boy Was Only 16 When He Lost Star Dad – 8 Years Later, He Came Out as Gay and Now Raises 2 Sons
Christopher, who lost his star father at 16, came out as gay eight years later and now raises two sons with his husband, Cody Morris. He proudly shared, “I’m married to the best man and we’ve started our own family together,” encouraging fans to embrace their true selves.
In April 2017, Christopher introduced their first son, Beau, with a photo of the newborn swaddled in a giraffe-patterned blanket. In December 2019, he shared another photo, this time with their second son, August Kelly, affectionately called “Gus,” cradled by Christopher while Cody looked on lovingly.
Despite receiving warm support on social media, they also faced hateful comments. One person questioned who had given birth to their sons and called them “sickos.” Christopher reposted the comment with a caption: “Woke up to this attack on our family. A reminder of how far we have come and how much further we have to go.”
Many fans expressed empathy and disappointment at the hateful remarks, recognizing the love within the family. Recently, Christopher celebrated Beau’s 5th birthday, sharing photos and expressing gratitude for how his son had made him a better person.
